Why take this course?
This qualification will help learners identify, develop and formally recognise their knowledge and skills surrounding the care of patients, friends and families during this sensitive and emotionally demanding time of life. It will also enable learners to progress on to further qualifications within this subject area, or surrounding the wider area of health and social care.
This course is ideal for anyone who is already working in, or intending to work within, the healthcare or social care sector. It will provide them with knowledge and understanding of end of life care to support their role. The course may also be suitable for anyone who is caring for a loved one during their final stages of life.
What you will experience
This course is split into manageable units, each which require to be successfully completed to achieve the qualification. Studying via distance learning means you can choose when and where you study. Access to the course is provided online with a personal tutor allocated to provide relevant support.
This course will require you to manage your workload independently, with a basic level of tutor support.
