This course covers advanced skills of web design, and is the last in a trio of part-time web design courses.

Overview

Why take this course?

This is the third of three courses, and is designed to equip you with skills to build a website that will allow people to purchase products and services. It will also provide you with a good understanding of e-commerce. On successful completion of the course, a college certificate will be issued.

What you will experience

You will focus on how to build a website from which people can purchase products and services, allowing you to become very familiar with the practices and processes of e-commerce. You will study:

  • Using PHP
  • Creating Web Database
  • Creating Database queries
  • E-commerce and Security
  • Implementing Authentication
  • Creating shopping carts
  • Planning and Running an E-commerce project
