College closure due to adverse weather

All NESCol campuses and sites will close from 2pm today (26 November) in response to the red weather warning issued by the Met Office.

Students, staff and visitors should leave at the earliest opportunity and take into account the warnings around travel and the potential for disruption.

Principal Neil Cowie said: “The health and safety of our College community is our priority and the decision to close reflects the advice of the Met Office. We would urge anyone travelling this afternoon to exercise care and caution.”

College buses from the Fraserburgh Campus will be available from 1.45pm, leaving at 2pm. The Millbank Coaches service (Ellon/Inverurie area) is due to depart at around 2.30pm.

Any students travelling from Fraserburgh Campus to Macduff/Banff can be accommodated on the Deveron Coaches bus travelling to Buckie.

The Stagecoach service from Altens Campus to Union Square will available to transport students from 2pm.
