Why take this course?

Flower arranging is a timeless art and a fun hobby. This course is designed for people interested in arranging fresh, dried and silk flowers and foliage in a suitable medium – perfect for decorating your home or creating thoughtful gifts for friends and family.

On completion of the course, you will be able to create a front-facing, all-round posy and a basket arrangement.

What you will experience

Following on from the introductory course, you will be encouraged to produce various floral designs under tutor guidance. You will also discuss the theory behind selection of flowers as well as important influences such as colour and design. The course will also focus on preparation, how to recognise and select appropriate tools and how to securely attach materials.
