This course is aimed at those who wish to participate in sport, lead others in coaching sessions and those who wish to work directly with athletes in helping them to improve their performance.
The course has an exciting mix of practical subjects which are studied alongside related theory, giving you the opportunity to develop new skills, improve on existing skills and gain an in-depth understanding of sports coaching and development subjects.
Embedded within the course are varied National Governing Body Awards in a variety of sporting delivery.

All students must complete a PVG check via the College. Where one already exists it must be updated for College use.
It is also mandatory for all students to have the relevant uniform to represent the College in any offsite and practical activity.
HND Coaching with Developing Sport (SCQF Level 8).

If you are studying a full-time advanced course (HNC level or above), you may be entitled to funding.
