“I’d like to stay within football but on the business side. I’m not 100% certain on that, that’s where I think the HNC in Business is great foundation.”
“The course provides you the skills to communicate whatever it is that you’re trying to sell. It’s been fantastic. It gives you a really supportive environment – especially if you are coming back into the world of education from work. That’s the route that I took and it’s been really fantastic in that regard. But if you’re a school leaver as well, College gives you practical skills alongside the theory that you’re learning, so even if you decide not to go to uni, you’ve got those skills there and you can utilise them to go into work. It’s really, really valuable in that way.”
“I’m so pleased that I had the courage to return to College, it’s opened so many doors for me”
“I am still in touch with everyone in my College class – we all try and meet up – when we can! The majority of us are all working.”
“University would not have been an option for me without my HND so I will be forever grateful to NESCol for the opportunities it has provided me with. “
“For anyone considering studying Accounting at NESCol, I would say it will definitely set you up and give you the right foundation for progressing on to a career in accountancy. I feel the skills I learned at college have been very beneficial in the work I am doing today. I use my knowledge gained at college of accounting principles and taxation every day.”
“This course will benefit you in more ways than one and the lecturers are some of the best people you’ll get to meet.”
“This vocational route has allowed me to get a good balance between work and my social life, and have healthy finances!”
“I really enjoyed returning to the academic side of things and I would like to think that this apprenticeship will stand me in good stead for further development at Dr Gray’s.”
“College really helped me bridge the gap between being in relatively small classes at school and being in huge lectures at university.”
