Why take this course?

This course has been devised to build essential skills required within a cafe, bistro and contract catering setting.

You will develop both practical & theoretical knowledge and skills whilst working in a kitchen and counter service area. Assist in the planning, preparation and service of food & drinks that you produce. You will also get an introduction to customer service, food hygiene and health & safety so you can apply these in your practical activities.

This course is very hands-on, with a lot of time spent in the training kitchen & Bistro. You will also spend time serving food and drink, as well as dealing with customers.
