Digital technology is used in almost every job and people spend an increased proportion of their personal time using digital devices. While the expansion of this technology has improved productivity in the workplace and the quality of leisure time, it also presents digital security challenges.
The electronically stored personal and business information presents new threats to individuals and organisations.
The PDA in Cyber Resilience at SCQF level 7 is suitable for those looking to develop a robust foundational awareness. Learners should have general IT Skills and be confident accessing online resources.
What you will experience
The course covers knowledge in the core area of cyber resilience including understanding of critical legislative considerations in cyber security and awareness of the potential impact of breaches in cyber security on individuals, companies and society.

Your course may be free if you are not a full time student with NESCol and you are : in receipt of benefits; or care-experienced; or your household taxable income falls below defined levels.
