Applicants should have achieved National 3 level in both Maths and English as well as two National 4 units in any subject. Other qualifications and experiences will also be taken into consideration.
This course allows candidates to learn about safe working and to demonstrate competence in electrical wiring and electronic circuits. It will prepare you for entry into the engineering or manufacturing sectors, allowing progression between education and employment.
You will work mainly in electrical engineering workshops using appropriate tools and equipment to carry out electrical wiring operations and assembling electronic circuits whilst adhering to health and safety regulations.
