Why take this course?

This course is designed to build both team and individual resilience and to help individuals to return to and maintain a state of positive mental wellbeing. Topics covered include;

  • Getting to know each other / exploring mental health
  • Identifying stressors and coming up with strategies
  • Exploring our own individual behaviours
  • Physical symptoms and relaxation techniques

The second part of this course will focus on resilience.
Resilience isn’t necessarily something a person is born with. Anyone can develop resilience, as long as they have the tools and are willing to put in some time and commitment. The fundamental principles of resilience will be covered during this course, including;

  • Emotional Wellbeing
  • Future Focus
  • Inner Focus
  • Physical Health
  • Healthy Relationships

What you will experience

This course will involve a high element of group discussion and learner participation. You will learn from an experienced mental health practitioner who will provide guidance and insight into your own learner journey.
