Courses

The Science courses on offer at North East Scotland College allow you to commence study at a range of entry points dependent on your previous qualifications and experience. Even if you have never studied science before, we are able to provide a programme which will get you set on the road to a career in the field.

Science courses are delivered at both our Aberdeen City and Fraserburgh Campuses. At both of these you will enjoy state-of-the-art facilities with an outstanding range of modern equipment. Most classes will be delivered in dual-purpose laboratory-classrooms which means that practical and theory content can be combined to provide the most engaging learning process.

You will also have opportunities to enhance your CV and future employability. For example, you will be given the chance to register as a STEM Ambassador. In this role you will work with others to promote interest and uptake of science by young people.

The Science teaching staff have an extensive range of experience and expertise from across industry and academia, which is deployed to maximum effect in learning and teaching.
