School strikes: Important information for pupils enrolled on NESCol courses

Schools in the North East will be impacted by strike action in the week commencing Monday, 30 January.

NESCol will be open as planned and full-time students should continue to follow timetables.

The only College classes impacted will be those for secondary pupils scheduled to take part in activity in school or on campus on the following days:

• Monday, 30 January: Classes will run as normal for Aberdeen City Council pupils.  Aberdeenshire Council pupils should not
• Tuesday, 31 January: All school activity is cancelled due to NESCol staff development activity.
• Wednesday, 1 February: Classes will run as normal for all pupils.
• Thursday, 2 February: Classes will run as normal for all pupils.
• Friday, 3 February: All school activity cancelled due to College holiday.

Full details have been communicated with all secondary schools to share with pupils. Online materials will be provided via the Blackboard virtual environment, where possible.
