About the Student Advice Centre

A one-stop-shop for information regarding courses, the application process, and student support. Staff can also advise and provide information on:

  • Pre-entry advice and guidance
  • Distance and Community Learning
  • Fees and funding
  • Employer bookings
  • Career advice
  • Learning support
  • International student enquiries

You’ll find a highly trained and dedicated team in place, happy to help in any way they can.

There is a 24-hour answering facility available to capture out-of-hours queries and the team also host a live chat facility on our website, available Monday to Thursday, 8.30-10am and 2.30-4pm and Friday 8.30-10am and 2.30-3.30pm.

The Student Advice Centre stocks the most up-to-date NESCol literature, including our prospectus and Part-time Guide.

The Student Advice Centre is located on the Lower Ground Floor of the Tower Block at Aberdeen City Campus.
It is accessible via the soft seating area next to Dino’s Cafe.

Students’ Association

About the Students’ Association

The Students’ Association Office at the Aberdeen City Campus is a welcoming environment where you can drop in to discuss anything that you feel is affecting, or would improve, your time at North East Scotland College. Feel free to visit the office to speak with one of your Student Representatives.

You will find the Students’ Association office near the Loch Street entrance on the Lower Ground floor of the Tower Block.


Opening hours

If your Presidents are on-site at City Campus they are happy to help with any enquiries.  There is a buzzer system in place should should they be in the back office.

If Presidents are out of office there will be a notice to let you know.

Our Regional President and Depute Presidents cover all campuses, and are often out of the office attending meetings or events on behalf of students.
