Colleges support Show Racism the Red Card

NESCol has joined institutions across the country in backing the Show Racism the Red Card education charity in its 30th anniversary year.
The college sector’s support is being driven by the CDN Equity, Diversity and Inclusion Strategic Network.
The campaign features a new video showcasing contributions from NESCol and colleges throughout Scotland.
The aim is to highlight the shared commitment to tackling racism and promoting inclusion across further education.
Dr Gail Toms, Delivery and Engagement Partner at CDN, said: “As Show Racism the Red Card approaches its 30th year, this collaboration amplifies a clear message from Scotland’s colleges: tackling racism requires ongoing action, partnership and courage. CDN, through the work of the EDI Strategic Network, supports all our colleges in their mission to turn values into action so that learners feel respected, represented and supported.”
