NESCol shines a spotlight on student and staff success at Go Celebrate! Awards

June 6, 2025

Students and staff from North East Scotland College (NESCol) were honoured today for their exceptional contributions and achievements at the annual Go Celebrate! Awards.

The event gives the NESCol community a platform to recognise individuals who have made a lasting impact over the academic year. A new addition to the ceremony this year was the Students’ Association lecturer and support staff awards, with nominations made directly by students.

Hosted at the Gate 63 restaurant, the celebration brought together award winners and their guests, along with representatives from GMTT, the Regional Board, the Students’ Association and NESCol staff to mark the special occasion.

Neil Cowie, Principal, NESCol, said:

“Like many of my colleagues, I consider the Go Celebrate! Awards a true highlight of the College calendar, as we take a moment to reflect and recognise the incredible achievements that have made this another outstanding year at NESCol.

“What the Go Celebrate! Awards always serve to do is underline the stories that sit behind these achievements and, without fail, they provide inspiration to us as we go about our work. Congratulations to all who were nominated and especially to those who reached the final stage.”
