It’s show time!

June 2, 2023

The talents of NESCol creative students will be showcased in June as the City Campus and Fraserburgh Campus open their doors for end of year shows.

The City event will run from June 21-23 and Fraserburgh from June 19-22.

The exhibitions will feature work across a range of creative industries. Art and design, visual communication, textiles and photography will all be in the spotlight.

It is the first time the popular show has been held in Aberdeen since 2019, due to Covid restrictions in previous years.

NESCol Principal Neil Cowie said: “Creative courses are an important part of the College curriculum and there continues to be great demand for places, underlining the strength of the talent pool we have in the North East. There is also significant demand from employers, with more than 70,000 jobs in Scotland’s creative industries alone.

“The end of year shows are a fantastic opportunity to demonstrate the incredible talents of our students and to celebrate their passion and imagination. There is always a wonderful buzz around these events and we are looking forward to rolling out the welcome mat for all who will join us to celebrate the creativity of the class of 2023.”

The Fraserburgh Campus show will run from 9am to 5pm from 19-22 June and the City Campus show (entry via Loch Street reception) from 9am to 8pm on 21 and 22 June and from 9am to 3pm on 23 June.

Applications for full-time creative courses starting this summer are currently open. Visit www.nescol.ac.uk to find out more about the range of options available.
