If you would like to develop a portfolio by exploring diverse essential photographic approaches and skills required for progression to more advanced levels of study in photography, or prepare yourself for initial entry to employment within the photo-imaging sector, then this is the course for you!

Four passes at National 5 level or equivalent, preferably including Art & Design and English/Communication.
Alternatively, applicants may have completed an appropriate level 5 course.
For those returning to education, life skills and experience may allow entry.
A list of materials will be sent to you before the start of the course.
SQA units in Photography (SCQF Level 6); students who successfully complete the course may achieve NC Photography (SCQF Level 6).

If you are studying a full-time non-advanced course (below HNC level), you may be entitled to funding.

This course is a Bring Your Own Device (BYOD) programme. This means that you are required to have access to your own laptop computer, netbook or similar device in class each day that you are in college.
This may be funded or part-funded by a bursary, if you are eligible to receive one.
