Book a group visit

The recommended capacity for the Planetarium is 20 to ensure the optimum viewing experience. Groups of up to 27 may be accommodated, depending on the age group visiting.

What groups can expect

Experience immersive full-dome cinema shows at NESCol’s Planetarium.

NESCol team

Groups will be met at the main reception at City Campus (entrance via Loch Street) and guided to the Planetarium.

One of the NESCol team will be present to ensure the voyage runs smoothly! Groups must have adequate adult supervision for the number of visitors attending.

At the end of the screening, visitors will be led back to reception for return travel.

Duration

Each Planetarium show runs for around 25 minutes. Depending on availability and the suitability for the age group visiting, it may be possible to run two different shows consecutively to create a one-hour experience, allowing for a short comfort break between screenings.

Additional facilities

Refreshments are available at our on-site café, subject to opening times.

We do not currently offer accompanying activities, but break-out areas may be available on request if it is necessary to split the visiting group into smaller numbers to meet capacity restrictions.
