Consultation, shampoo and conditioning, basic styling, cutting, colouring and lightening as well as perming techniques are the main focus of the course. There are further opportunities to develop creative skills in barbering.

Promoting and selling a variety of products and services alongside reception duties and the importance of health and safety will also be covered.

You will learn all of these skills in a realistic work environment, which provides preparation for work placement and excellent salon experience for progression to employment.
