Car Parking

Car parking is available at the hotel or on the nearby streets.

Registration

Registration opens at the following times:

  • 9:30am for the morning (11:00am) ceremonies
  • 1:30pm for the afternoon (3:00pm) ceremonies

Seating

Graduands
Graduands should make their way to the Sycamore Suite where they will be lined up for their ‘Grand Entrance’ at least 20 minutes before the start of the ceremony.

Guests
Individual seats are not reserved and guests can sit anywhere that is not reserved. Cameras are allowed, but we ask that you refrain from using flash photography. Telephones should be switched off or on silent mode.

We ask that you be seated not less than 15 minutes prior to the start of your ceremony.

The Ceremony

When the ceremony is about to commence guests will be asked to stand for the arrival of the Graduands followed by the Academic Procession. Once they are all seated you will be asked to sit and the ceremony will commence.

The ceremony should take approximately 60 minutes.

Immediately after the ceremony, you will be asked to stand as the Academic Procession leaves.

Graduates will then be asked to make their way out of the atrium, in order, starting from the first row facing the stage. Once the Graduates have all left, guests can follow behind them to the reception area.

Celebratory Reception

To celebrate your achievement, you and your guests are warmly invited to join us for a glass of something fizzy (or soft drink) and cake which will be served in the Sycamore Suite. Alternatively, refreshments may be purchased from the bar.
