Welcome to your School-College course
Welcome to the School-College programme. This page will tell you all you need to know before you get started.
Getting started
Welcome to the School-College programme. By now, you should have received your offer letter from your school.
Enrolment
If you have not already enrolled onto your course please make your College lecturer aware. They will support you during the enrolment process. To enrol you will need the following information:
- Your student number (found on your offer letter)
- Password (your lecturer will supply this)
- Your full address including postcode
- Contact details for your parent or guardian
Once you have enrolled on a School-College course you will gain access to online College systems such as MyNESCol and Office 365. Please see our easy guide for logging into NESCol systems to get started.
Code of Commitment
Included in your offer letter was the link to the ‘Code of Commitment’ form to be completed by all pupils joining us on the School-College programme. If you have not already done so, please complete the Code of Commitment form.

Accessing MyNESCol
MyNESCol is the Virtual Learning Environment system used in the College, where you can find useful information and access your courses and latest NESCol updates online.
MyNESCol will be the main platform your lecturers will use to make resources available to you for coursework, assessments and feedback.

Your College Campus
We have number of modern campuses and learning centres spread throughout Aberdeen City and Aberdeenshire.
If you’re worried about navigating our campuses when you attend classes, don’t worry — we’ll make sure you get to your class during induction and you’ll be able to find your way around in no time. We also have some campus maps to help you while you get used to college life.

If your child is applying to take a School-College programme course whilst continuing at school, it is important that they are supported by you in fully engaging with the course.
Information for Guidance Teachers
If you are supporting a young person applying for a School-College course, it is important to ensure they are aware of the commitment they will be expected to make to the course, and that they are fully supported in the application process.
