This is a course in English for learners who want to develop their already advanced English language skills of reading, writing, listening and speaking in general contexts.
Study the complex features of English grammar in-depth, and develop a high level of fluency. This course aims to develop reading, writing, speaking and listening for those who are beyond advanced level.

We ask you to take a test to ensure you are placed on the right course for your current level of English. The results of the test are required by our part-time learning team when booking this course.

Your course may be free if you are not a full time student with NESCol and you are: in receipt of benefits; or care-experienced; or your household taxable income falls below defined levels.
Whether you wish to progress in your studies or enter the world of work, North East Scotland College has excellent progression opportunities, with links to several universities across Scotland and strong relationships with industry employers.
On successful completion of this course you can progress to further study at North East Scotland College on a full-time or part-time basis.
