Entry requirements
Applicants should have an NC in Engineering at SCQF level 5 with Mathematics Craft 1.
A Foundation Apprenticeship in any subject area will be considered equivalent as one unrelated Higher for entry to this course.
This course is designed for the practical engineer who is seeking an advanced level qualification and preparation for first line management and supervisory roles, and acts as excellent preparation for progression towards further study or employment.
This course provides you with the opportunity to enhance your existing skills by combining theory and practice to achieve a real understanding of specialist engineering subjects. You will learn to apply your analytical skills for the solution of engineering problems at the standard required by engineering craft persons and engineering supervisors.

Your course may be free if you are not a full time student with NESCol and you are: in receipt of benefits; or care-experienced; or your household taxable income falls below defined levels.
