Why take this course?
This course is suitable for candidates who wish to convert/upgrade as follows:
- Class 1 Deck Fishing to Master < 500 GT NC
- Master Workboat < 500 GT Unltd to Master < 500 GT NC
- Master < 500 GT II/3 NC to Master < 500 GT II/3 inc NC German Waters
What you will experience
- The principles and safe working practices for the proper loading, stowage and carriage of dry cargoes and offshore vessel operations.
- The principles and safe methods of arranging for the proper loading, stowage and carriage of bulk liquid and chemical cargoes.
- The duties of the Officer of the Watch (OOW) whilst maintaining a deck cargo watch.
The precautions and procedures to be taken to prevent pollution of the marine environment.
Application Information
This is a blended learning course. A minimum 5 days attendance at College is required to undertake formative and summative assessments.
