Suitable for learners working in leadership roles, aspiring to progress within a team or hoping to gain employment in a role which requires leadership skills, this course creates a foundation of relevant knowledge which learners can build on in their future career. Learners will develop and improve their practical skills which are needed to successfully lead a team.
Learners will be introduced to key principles of team leading, techniques and business practices, which will enable them to perform effectively in a leadership role in the workplace.
An understanding of performance and conflict management will also be gained as well as strengthening their communication skills and increase their knowledge of legislation related to a leadership role.
This qualification is aimed at learners who wish to gain further skills to develop their careers and progress in the workplace. It is suitable for anyone who is new to a team leading role, or those who are hoping to become a team leader as they advance their careers. This course is split into eight manageable units:
