Safe handling and transportation of ammonia
COSHH rules
Health & Safety at Work
EN378/2008
Practical examples of the recovery of ammonia
Connecting and disconnecting of charging equipment
Removal of oil from ammonia systems

Entry requirements

Engineers attending are expected to be fully conversant and practiced in all aspects of safe-working practices involved when breaking into ammonia refrigeration systems.

It is advisable that the participating engineers have experience in:

Monitoring plant efficiency
Pressure testing, leak detection, evacuation and charging procedures
Decanting of ammonia
Safe handling, storage and transportation of ammonia

Competence of attendees will be verified before they commence the course.

What you will get

Successful completion of individual assessment will result in City & Guilds registration of competence.
