This course allows participants to enhance their assertiveness in both personal and professional settings.
Through activities and case studies, you will develop strategies and gain the confidence needed to achieve more successful outcomes. The course is interactive and provides opportunities to engage with the material and ask questions.
By the end of the session, you will be equipped with the skills to assert yourself confidently and more effectively in a range of situations.
What you will experience
This interactive one-day course can be delivered face-to-face at a NESCol campus, online using Microsoft Teams or at a local business premises for four to twelve attendees.
You will learn about:

- What makes people assertive and the benefits
- Personality/ behavioural types
- Using assertive communication
- Further techniques for developing assertiveness
- Dealing with other behavioural types
- Effective feedback
- Action planning and reflection
