Creative Industries End of Year Show 2026 winners announced

June 11, 2026

The winners of this year’s Aberdeen City Campus Creative Industries End of Year Show were revealed on Tuesday 9 June at the opening night of the student exhibition.

Over 100 guests were welcomed to preview the work of students from contemporary art practice, textiles, visual communication, photography and – a new addition for 2026 – 3D animation.

The highlight of the event was the highly anticipated announcement of the Best Work of the Wall winners and Best Creative Architectural Image, as chosen by expert judges.

NESCol Vice Principal Robin McGregor opened the speeches. He said:

“The End of Year Show is a celebration of talent, skill, creativity and individuality. The standard of work on display is truly exceptional and reflects the dedication and hard work of our students throughout the year – particularly in the days leading up to the exhibition.

“They should feel incredibly proud of what they have achieved.

“A sincere thank you to our esteemed panel of judges who generously give their time and expertise and have the challenging task of selecting this year’s winners.

“None of this success happens in isolation; our students have been guided every step of the way by talented and dedicated teams across NESCol’s curriculum and student support services.

“The support of friends and family also plays a vital role in nurturing our students’ creative journeys.

“Well done to everyone involved – and especially to our students, who are a true credit to NESCol.”
