This course helps you learn essential tips and techniques for managing conflict at work and introduces effective conflict management strategies.
Delegates will learn the skills, knowledge and confidence to turn around conflict situations in the workplace, in a clear, assertive and constructive manner.
This course provides valuable insights for managers, supervisors and team leaders.
What you will experience
This two-day course can be delivered face-to-face at a NESCol campus or at a local business premises for up to twelve attendees.
You will learn about:
- Defining confrontation and conflict
- Exploring strategies for preventing, handling and resolving conflict
- Recognising different conflict styles and your own preferred way of dealing with it
- Different stages of the conflict process
- Verbal and non-verbal elements of assertiveness and influencing
- Practicing confrontation management strategies
- Reflection and action planning
