Why take this course?

This is a classroom-based academic programme at a similar level to first year of university. The course addresses how to solve mechanical and electrical engineering problems with mathematical solutions, which are applied to mechanical and electrical engineering principles. The HNC requires 12 credits.

This is offered as an evening class -2 nights per week over 2 years.

Please note that Year 2 of this course must be successfully completed in order to complete the full award. Completion of both years normally takes students around 18 months.
