Your course may be free if you are not a full time student with NESCol and you are : in receipt of benefits; or care-experienced; or your household taxable income falls below defined levels.
There are nearly three million people currently living with diabetes in the UK and experts predict that this number will reach five million within the next twelve years. As the prevalence of diabetes continues to increase, the understanding of how to manage diabetes also needs to increase.
By completing this qualification, you will improve and develop your knowledge and understanding to help provide the best care possible for people who are living with diabetes. You will also develop awareness of how the onset of Type 2 diabetes can be delayed with lifestyle changes.
This course is split into manageable units, each which require to be successfully completed to achieve the qualification. Studying via distance learning means you can choose when and where you study.
Access to the course is provided online with a personal tutor allocated to provide relevant support.
