Pathways to Work

NESCol has partnered with local organisations to deliver a range of free part-time courses for people out of work.

These courses are designed to help you build your confidence and take the first steps on your journey into employment. Whether you have a specific career path in mind, or are still exploring your options, you’ll develop essential skills to support your progression and strengthen any job application.

The courses available depend on if you live in Aberdeen City or Aberdeenshire, and you must meet the criteria to be eligible.

As a student at NESCol, you can make use of the Student Advice Centre who can give information, advice and referrals to make sure you make the most of your time with us.

You will also be supported by the Students’ Association who are available on campus to discuss any issues you would like to raise.

National Union of Students in partnership with TOTUM promote a student card which can be purchased by any full-time, part-time or distance learning student. This provides access to savings in over 200 shops, leisure activities and restaurants.
