Why take this course?

This introductory course is designed for anyone with an interest in sports massage, injury prevention, or rehabilitation.

You’ll build a solid understanding of the underpinning theory while developing practical hands-on skills through supervised client work.

This course is ideal for:

  • Individuals exploring a future career in sports massage or rehabilitation.
  • Those returning to education or undertaking further study for the first time.
  • Volunteers, coaches, or support staff involved in sports clubs who want to develop their understanding of rehabilitation and recovery techniques.
  • Anyone considering a future business in sports massage and looking to build a strong foundation before progressing to a regulated qualification.

What you will experience

This is a practical course and therefore students will be required to carry out treatments with clients.

Please note: This course is not a regulated sports massage qualification and does not qualify you to practise as a Sports Massage Therapist.

Instead, it provides the knowledge, confidence, and practical experience needed to prepare you for progression onto a regulated sports massage course, where you can gain the qualifications required to practise professionally.
