Thinking of doing your own jobs around the home?
This course will give you the opportunity to learn and practice how to fit mortise locks, fit skirting boards and hang doors correctly.
The course is ideal for beginners, and will give you a detailed introduction to the tools and materials used in joinery.
On completion of the course will have completed an SQA Unit, and may also have time to produce a small practical piece of project work.
There is a lot of hands-on practical work, where you can develop and refine your skills in producing a range of woodworking joints as well as manufacture a joinery component.
The course can also help to build on any basic skills you might already have, by talking you through the use of power tools and how they can be used to improve efficiency.
