Why take this course?

This is an academically challenging course involving the study for four SQA Highers which will prepare you thoroughly for further study in science and related disciplines at HNC, HND or university.

You will be provided with lessons in small group sessions, supported by further tutorial slots. This will help ensure you are fully prepared for the final examinations.

Entry requirements

Applicants should hold National 5 or Intermediate 2 qualifications (grades BBBB) or Standard Grade Credit level qualifications (grades 2222) in their four selected subjects (please note National 5 Applications of Maths is not accepted).
For those wishing to study Environmental Science either Geography or Biology may be counted as alternative entrance qualifications to National 5 Environmental Science.
Entry is also available for those who have completed our NC Level 5 or NC Level 6 Applied Science programmes.
